It is not enough that you have picked out the perfect patio umbrella to be set in your backyard. It must be placed firmly in its location for it should be able to withstand strong wind gusts. The outdoor umbrella base must be properly chosen according to the size of the umbrella pole. The pole must fit snugly so as to prevent topples and the base must also be sized based on the diameter of the umbrella itself. It must also be heavy enough so it can fully support the umbrella.
